Spotlight Plus is used in pre-harvest, as a desiccant on consumption potatoes and on starch potatoes  and seed potato varieties. The product acts by contact on the leaves and stems and as a consequence there are no residues on the tubers. 

Spotlight Plus is also a post-emergence herbicide used on apple, pear, peach, kiwi, olive, citrus, vines, shrub and tree nursery and non-cultivated land, for control of many weeds present at the time of treatment.

The product is absorbed by foliage by contact action  by stopping the growth of weeds with symptoms that are sensitively apparent within a few days after treatment (Necrosis and subsequent death).

Spotlight Plus used as a herbicide promotes or accelerates the action of total, systemic or contact herbicides (Glyphosate and Glufosinate ammonium) against  weeds such as morning glory (Convolvulus arvensis), Mallow (Malva sylvestris), Purslane (Portulaca oleracea), sorrel (Oxalis spp.) Plantain (Plantago maior), Black Nightshade (Solanum nigrum), Nettle (Urtica dioica).
